Validity of Prices
Prices are valid for the periods shown but are subject to change without notice in the event of Government action, i.e. increase in hotel tax or VAT, or to increase if prices are significantly affected by other circumstances beyond our control. Prices are based on exchange rates prevailing at the time of publication and may alter should any major variation in exchange rates occur.

Prices Include
Prices quoted for safaris generally include transport as per the itinerary, game drives where appropriate, full board accommodation, picnic/extra lunches where stated, scheduled charter flights where mentioned and park entrance fees.

Prices Exclude
Itinerary prices generally exclude international flights, visa costs, airport taxes, optional excursions, personal insurance (medical or other), flying doctor membership, drinks, tips, phone calls, laundry and any items of a personal nature.

Children
Children under 12 years of age sharing with parents generally pay between 50 – 75%. If on own room or sharing with 01 adult, full adult rate may apply.
Children under 7 years are NOT allowed in most of Tree hotels (The Ark, The Treetops, Mountain Lodge and Shimba Hills Lodge.

RESERVATIONS, PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Bestway Holidays Ltd does operate in transparency and has no intension of withholding vital information to our esteemed clients. In this regard our cancellation policy is stipulated as here-below:-

Bookings are deemed as confirmed upon receipt of deposit (part of payment advised at the time of quoting) from the client / Agent and the same is passed to the suppliers involved so as to guarantee services to avoid undue disappointment to our clients. Should a client wish to cancel full or part of the confirmed services, Bestway Holidays Ltd must be notified immediately in writing. Upon booking cancellation there is always a standard US$ 200.00 file administration charges.

The rest of the charges shall depend on the number of days to the arrival date from the date of cancellation notification.
Cancellation or no show fees:

– from 45 days till 35 days before arrival : 38% of the total amount will be charged

– from 34 days and 28 days before arrival : 50% of the total amount will be charged

– Within 28 days to arrival date : 100% rate will be charged.

– Earlier check-out than booked dates : 100% will be charged

NOTE: Peak season, Christmas / new year period bookings, cancellation within 60 days will be subject to 50% of the total amount payable. Some properties has this stretched to 90 Days. All details will be featured on the quotations.

The charges applicable will be deducted from Deposit earlier made with the balance being refunded back to the client. (All transactional Bank charges shall be borne by the client.)

Bestway Holidays Ltd and /or its agents reserve the right to terminate, at their discretion and with immediate effect, the participation of any person on the tour.

Accommodation
Wherever possible we book rooms with private baths throughout a safari on the basis of two persons sharing a double room. Single rooms are available at supplementary cost but neither single nor rooms with private bathrooms can be guaranteed.

Transportation
Varies with each itinerary but is usually by safari minibus with large windows, pop-up roofs, guaranteed window seats and the services of an English speaking driver/guide. French, Spanish and Japanese speaking driver/guides are also available.

Responsibility
All bookings are accepted on the specific condition that BESTWAY HOLIDAYS LTD act only as booking agents for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, sightseeing, restaurants or any other services in connection with any itinerary.

While all precautions are taken to ensure passenger’s safety and enjoyment while in our hands, BESTWAY Holidays Ltd or its agents shall NOT be liable for death, injury, delay, loss or damage arising from any cause and in any manner whatsoever or change of itinerary or act, including any act of terrorism, acts of God and Government, neglect, accident, error or omission caused by any of the suppliers or independent contractors, their employees and , representatives or event beyond control of BESTWAY Holidays Ltd.

The tickets, coupons, tariffs, rules or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant or other contractor rendering service shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor and the tour member. Furthermore, BESTWAY Holidays Ltd DOES NOT accept responsibility for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or any cause beyond their personal control (Force Majeure). The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or substitute services without notice and to decline to accept or retain any tour members at any time. No carrier shall be responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their flights or conveyances.

All baggage is carried at the passenger’s own risk and BESTWAY Holidays reserves the right to exclude certain baggage at its discrection. BESTWAY Holidays Ltd reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any tour participant. In this case a full refund of unused services will be made to the passenger removed without any further obligations or responsibility. Furthermore the Company accepts no liability or responsibility for costs incurred as a result failing to obtain correct Travel Documents.

The Issuance and acceptance of Travel Documents (Vouchers, Itineraries and tickets) shall be deemed to be consent to these terms and conditions.
