Day 1 Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
(300 Kms – Approx. 5 hours drive).
0700hrs – Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara National Reserve. You will travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and head down the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Look for the charming chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. You’ll pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the Valley to Narok, and then travel across acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Masai Mara and your lodge in time for lunch. There will be an afternoon game drive.

Day 2  Masai Mara Game Reserve

Get up at 6.30am for an early morning game drive. You will have time to grab a quick drink and snack before your safari vehicle departs. The best time to see wildlife is early morning and late afternoon. In the middle part of the day animals tend to seek shade and are less active, making game viewing more difficult
Return to the Lodge for a hearty breakfast followed by some rest and relaxation
Afternoon game drive followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the Lodge
NB: Today is the ideal day for an optionamemorable adventurous Balloon Excursion followed by a surprise champagne breakfast in the bush (extra cost)

Meals  and overnight at a Lodge or Luxury tented Lodge

Day 3  Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru Lodge (325 Kms – Approximately 5.5 hours)
Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, you’ll travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at Lake Nakuru around midday. The waters here are often coloured shimmering flamingo pink, from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park.
Overnight at a lodge in the park (Lionhill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge)

Day 4  Lake Nakuru Lodge – Mount Kenya (190 Kms – Approximately 3.5 hours)
Leave after breakfast and drive towards Mount Kenya arriving at Mountain Lodge for lunch. This is a tree lodge set in a forest glade with a waterhole that attracts all sorts of wildlife during the day and night. The waterhole is floodlit and there is an underground viewing platform.
Overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge /Treetops or The Ark.
NOTE: Children under the age of 7 not allowed at the above lodges.

Day 5 Mount Kenya – Amboseli (374 Kms – Approximately 6hours)
An early morning start takes you to Nairobi for lunch. After Lunch continue to Amboseli for a game drive enroute to your lodge.

Day 6 Amboseli National Park

Full day in the park Morning and Afternoon game drives.
The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species including the Big Five. Other attractions of the park include Amboseli park observation hill, varied species of birdlife, Contemporary Maasai culture and indigenous lifestyle and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Meals  and overnight at a Lodge or Luxury tented Lodge

Day 7: Amboseli N Park  – Nairobi (260 kms – Approximately 4 hours)
After breakfast you’ll depart for Nairobi arriving into Kenya’s bustling capital at midday. Once in the city, you will be dropped off at a city Centre hotel or the airport for your ongoing travel arrangements (an extension to Kenyan Beach or Zanzibar is recommended)
